I just downloaded brisk and it appears to do what I want it to do 9typesetting nice equations). One thing struck me though: when I drag and equation into another document as pdf, close brisk, open brisk and drag the equation back into the brisk bottom pane, I get "Pasted Graphic.pdf". If however, I first drag it to my desktop and then drag it onto the brisk icon in my dock, I can actually edit it again (as one would like to do for obvious reasons). Any thoughts or is this a bug/feature??

    You can re-open PDFs created with Brisk via the Open dialog or by dragging to the dock icon. Brisk embeds the LaTeX expression in the PDF meta info.
